FRANCISCO INFANTE-ARANA
Francisco Infante-Arana was born in 1943 in Vasilievka, Saratov Oblast, Soviet Union to a Spanish father and an Russian mother.He studied at the Moscow College of Decorative and Applied Arts. In the 1960s and 1970s he was a member of the artists’ collective known as the Movement Group, founded by Lev Nussberg. 1970 He organized the Argo Group of artists and engineers. 1973 He was elected to the City Committee of Graphic Arists and was Admitted to the Moscow Artists Union. Francisco Infante is one of the most important Russian avant-garde artists.
